Welcome to Motorway Services Online!
If this is your first visit, then welcome to the site!
Love them or hate them, we've all used a motorway service area before. This site attempts to catalogue them all for both researchers and travellers. Are they really that bad? And are there certain companies to watch out for? Only you can answer these questions, which is why I value your reviews and have created the many sections of this site.
If you don't know where to start, you should check out the Services List, which is a comprehensive guide to all the motorway services. You may then want to try the Operators section for history and information, or perhaps Brands for a guide to the facilities at motorway services. Warning others and aiding your journey, this site remains to be the largest site dedicated to motorway services around!

Happy New Year! We start 2009 with a bit of 2008, as Motorway Services Online takes a look back at the year and considers 2008 in Motorway Services. The past twelve months have seen four new services, two sales and one new radio station - all the year's news can be found in Misc MSAs.
Elsewhere, Cardiff Gate, Medway and Tebay have all been updated. There have also been small-scale changes to Folkestone, Heston and Leicester. Kinross and Stirling were updated some time ago, but I forgot to say - sorry! Sticking to the Services List, there are new photos and information for Rownhams and some more Creative Commons photos have been added to Blyth and Durham. 10 new photos have been added to the cycle of random images to the right.
If anyone is interested, a few statistical bits for the site over the last year have been posted in the forums. Finally - and I almost forgot this bit - Heston services turn 41 tomorrow.
