Trivia:
Charnock Richard was the first service area to open on the M6. It opened in 1963 and like other services from its time, the fast food is on the bridge. In 2006, the bridge had to be restructured because it was close to falling on to the motorway!

Coachdriver cards are going byebye from the 1st Feb.
That will be fun when it's busy. And will we get told how to recognise the thousands of different ID coachdrivers can carry? Nope.
Oh well, at least it wont freeze the tills.

Called in to Charnock Richard three times, this last two weeks got to hand it to them called on all occasions between 10pm -11.30pm the site was well stocked in the shop rest rooms clean ( a bit smelly ) it was spotlessly clean everwhere else very very impressed, take a look on the carparks that is a good sign of the standard you are going to be met with,I could not fault Charnocks it was unbelivebly clean round the kerbstones as well, it was a pleasure to sit and have a break there well done charnock, Ps there was a little 4 legged critter about but it was away from the building.
