One service area serving both the M18 and the M180. They are the only 'proper' motorway services in this corner of the motorway network, an area which includes parts of the A1, A180, M18, M180 and the M62.

Trivia:
One of the newer services, Doncaster was proposed by Pavilion and it had planning permission for ten years before it opened in 2000. A mile south there is land shaped for the Hatfield services which was never utilised as it was thought to be better to build Doncaster and serve two roads in one, given that the M180's rather simple landscape has a habit of sending drivers to sleep.
The Highways Agency have listed Doncaster (North) as an "approved truckstop", something which surprisingly few service areas are.
